Everyone has regrets.
- Times we should have spoken up, and didn’t.
- Times we should have remained silent, and didn’t.
- Missed opportunities.
Regrets are part of life.
Everyone has regrets, but not everyone is controlled by their regrets. Some people seem to have found a way to live with their regrets — and to live beyond them.
This podcast speaks of where we can find remedies for our regrets.
Just a note on this podcast:
In it, I say that forgiveness is impossible without some acknowledgement of culpability. By that, I mean that forgiveness is impossible to receive if you won’t admit your fault. This is true.
However, forgiveness is possible to give, regardless of the heart of the one who has offended you. You can forgive someone who hurt you, whether they admit guilt or not. They could even be dead. And when you extend ANY forgiveness, you often find freedom that can be found in no other way — but that’s a different sermon. 🙂
However, as I say in the podcast, one cannot receive forgiveness for something one will not admit. It’s a logical impossibility. ~Pastor Steve
