Please consider working as a Leader or Helper in our Children’s Worship program in 2016, helping children ages 4-8 learn more about having a relationship with God. Commitment is for a month of services; workers’ instruction and materials are provided. Sign up now on the Children’s Ministries board for the month that suits your schedule! Questions? Download it at the app store / play store free so that you can access web information, calendar events, Facebook posts and Twitter tweets, podcasts, and prayer requests.

One handy feature on the app is the ability to add an event to your own calendar. Just open the event in the app, click the + sign in the corner and add the event to your personal calendar.

You can download the app at the App Store or Play Store. Once you do, all the online information you need from your church is in one place!

2017 Empowered to Connect Simulcast

Curwensville Alliance Church Brings You The…

This two-day simulcast conference is designed to bring hope and healing to adopted and foster children. Sessions will help adoptive and foster parents, ministry leaders, churches, and professionals better understand how to connect with children from hard places in order to help them heal and become all that God desires them to be. Led by the institute team, this event will help parents and professionals understand the needs of children and the impact of trauma. It will also present an overview of attachment research and sensory processing, as well as insights and tools for promoting connection and healing. Continuing Education Credit for Professionals: Please note that all professionals interested in receiving continuing education credit – in addition to registering below for the Curwensville Alliance Church site – MUST also register through this siteYou will not be eligible for credit without a confirmation of registration and badge.

Adoptive/Foster Parent Training Credit: Each parent will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of each day. You must provide a copy of each certificate and the conference schedule to your agency in order to receive training credit. There is no charge for training credit.

Simulcast times: 10 AM-6 PM Friday & Saturday, April 7 & 8. A detailed schedule of the sessions will be available prior to the simulcast.

Child care:  Curwensville Alliance Church will not be providing child care for either day of the conference. 

ALL GUESTS MUST REGISTER HERE
The cost for this conference is a suggested donation of $5 per person per day.  Please note that those wanting to receive CE credit will be charged another $35 through Show Hope.  Optional workbooks can be provided free of charge to those preregistered. Please register by March 31 if you want a workbook provided to you from Curwensville Alliance. Registration is now open; click here to register for the Curwensville Alliance Church site, even if you registered for CE credit.

Boys Campout

Boys ages 4-12 and their dads (or other male role model) are invited to an overnight camp out at the Anderson Creek Sportsman’s Club on 7/8/2016 with campfire cooking, swimming, fishing, target shooting, & outdoor fun! Register below. Invite other boys and dads that you know!
